Mobile Escape Rooms at The Dublin Games Festival

Mobile Escape Rooms were at the 2018 Dublin Games Festival in the RDS last weekend. Being one of Dublin’s largest games expos we had to be there to show the public what we are all about.

Setup started bright and early on Friday in anticipation of the mass crowds expected. Loading in we were excited to see the other companies attending and what was being showcased. It was all very surreal as Mobile Escape Rooms are the newbies in the game’s world. On the day it was shocking to see how many people were waiting to get through the doors – obviously, not realising how big the game’s culture is in Ireland! Once the doors opened it was manic, we had people left right and centre wanting to chat to us about the Mobile Escape Rooms. Of course, we were happy to oblige.

The Mobile Escape Room’s were a huge success, in our opinion anyway! We had all types looking to play, families, friends and individuals who formed groups to attempt escaping the room. To say these groups were some of the fastest we’ve seen to escape was an understatement. Not everyone managed to escape but the ones that did were out in record times – we were very impressed! We also had a lot of famous visitors Batman and Shadow Stormtroopers to name a few – childhood dreams really do come true. We had so much fun at the Dublin Games Festival and we will definitely be back next year. Hopefully, we’ll see you there.
